At the end of last year, during the major overhaul of the ethylene plant, Sino-Korea Petrochemical Company carried out a transformation to improve the ethylene production capacity from 800,000 tons per year to 1.1 million tons. Since the beginning of this year, the company has accelerated the commissioning of the newly-built No. 10 cracking furnace, No. 3 polypropylene plant, and No. 2 high-density polyethylene plant to help release ethylene production capacity. After the newly-built cracking furnace, cold box and new expander were put into use, they adjusted their operations and gradually increased the production load, and according to the cracking raw materials entering the plant and market conditions, timely optimized the cracking furnace operation mode, controlled the cracking depth, and improved profitability. Actively carry out technical research, explore the best operation, improve the selectivity of catalysts, and achieve continuous new highs in monthly ethylene output.
Since the beginning of this year, in the face of challenges such as the epidemic and lack of growth in diesel demand, Sino-Korea Petrochemical has started processing ethylene heavy raw materials. They consulted the processing experts of ethylene heavy raw materials such as Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry and Fujian Refining and Chemical, learned advanced experience, organized the company's refining, chemical and other departments to cooperate closely, and processed a total of 405,700 tons of aviation fuel and diesel components from January to November. , And received 10,000 tons of diesel components from Baling Petrochemical in April. This measure not only effectively ensured the stable supply of raw materials for the company's ethylene plant, but also eased the tight diesel inventory of itself and its sister companies, and achieved greater and better benefits in the integration of refining and chemical industries.
